In 2016, I joined the Edinburgh University Hyperloop Team, which was a small team consisting a few engineering and design students. We worked together to compete in a worldwide contest, to reinvent transportation with the Hyperloop concept. My team and I were shortlisted and invited to Texas to present and exhibit our final design, (the only team based in the UK to do so). Some of the various roles that I had as part of the team, included designing, making and presenting the team’s promotional video to put forward to the judging panel of professionals and to produce visually engaging renders of the design, to be used at our stand at the Hyperloop exhibition. Our team went on to win the Design Excellence Award.
