Ellie Carr-Smith is an interdisciplinary Textile Designer, with Creative Design, Textile Production and Social Media Marketing experience.

Using her knowledge in Textile and Product Design, she designs and creates hand tufted artworks, interior rugs and print designs.

In 2021 she graduated  the Royal College of Art with a MA degree in Textiles and in 2017 gained a BA (Hons) degree in Product Design from Edinburgh College of Art.

Ellie has exhibited her work around the UK, Design Exhibition Scotland, New Designers, BreezeFair and Edinburgh Playzone. While studying at the Royal College of Art, Ellie was awarded the Zoffany Visual Arts Award 2021, for her conscious approach to materials and inspiring art and design making methodologies.
